A Hundred Days - Janet Scenes:

SCENE BEGINS IN THE…

CONTROL ROOM: The camera starts on CHEVRON GUY's position.

CHEVRON GUY:

SG-1's code, sir.

Camera pans up to show HAMMOND and FRAISER.

HAMMOND:

Here they come people.  Doctor, stand by to receive refugees.

FRAISER:

Yes, sir.

FRAISER walks in front of HAMMOND and leaves the room.  The camera stays on HAMMOND.

…SCENE ENDS.

SCENE BEGINS IN THE…

CONTROL ROOM: The shot begins on the computer screen, then we see CHEVRON GUY.

CHEVRON GUY:

Chevron six encoded.

We see brief shots of TEAL'C with FRAISER, then CARTER, then JACKSON, and finally HAMMOND before a shot of the spinning stargate.  Back on CHEVRON GUY.

CHEVRON GUY:

Chevron seven... locked.

The Stargate's kawoosh is seen.

CHEVRON GUY:

Wormhole established.

CARTER:

Thank God.

CHEVRON GUY:

Standing by for MALP deployment, sir.

HAMMOND:

Send it through.

We see the MALP travel through the Stargate.

CHEVRON GUY

The MALP should reach Edora in four, three, two, one.  Should be receiving telemetry now, sir.

HAMMOND looks up at the monitor which is not showing a picture.  We go back to a shot of HAMMOND, CARTER, FRAISER, TEAL'C and JACKSON.  The latter four are all in BDU's, ready to go through the Stargate.  The shot moves back to CHEVRON GUY.

CHEVRON GUY:

No signal.

MAN (offscreen):

Environmental reports no telemetry.

WOMAN (offscreen):

Communications, no telemetry.

CARTER:

Then the MALP must have been destroyed as soon as it reached the other side there's no other explanation.

HAMMOND:

Shut it down.

CHEVRON GUY nods and shuts the 'gate down.  CARTER closes her eyes in disappointment.

HAMMOND:

Until you can provide me with answers to this problem the rescue mission is scrubbed.  Inform our visitors they'll be staying with us until we can make a proper assessment of our situation.

HAMMOND turns to leave.

FRAISER:

Yes, sir.

FRAISER follows HAMMOND out of the CONTROL ROOM, and the shot closes in on CARTER's face again.

…SCENE ENDS.

SCENE BEGINS IN…

CARTER'S LAB: The shot begins on CARTER's computer screen, then pans round to show her working.  FRAISER walks in carrying a mug, which she puts down in front of CARTER.

FRAISER:

You working through the night again?

CARTER turns to look at FRAISER.

CARTER:

Yeah.  Lot of work to do.  Thank you.

CARTER picks up the mug and drinks from it, then returns her attention to the screen in front of her.

FRAISER:

Look Sam, there's no doubt you are going to solve this, but you have to accept the fact it's going to take time.

CARTER:

Yeah, well if I think that way it could take months.

FRAISER:

Daniel says the Tollan could have a ship in the vicinity of Edora sometime early next year.

CARTER:

He shouldn't have to wait that long.

FRAISER:

You miss him.

CARTER looks down, and then straight ahead again.

CARTER:

Yeah.

FRAISER:

Is this a problem?

CARTER looks at FRAISER, and incidental music starts playing.

CARTER:

No.  No, of course not.

FRAISER:

Okay.

FRAISER stands up straight, and puts her hand on CARTER's shoulder as she moves to leave.

FRAISER:

Night.

CARTER:

Night.

FRAISER walks away, stopping to pause and look back at CARTER on her way out.  CARTER is once more staring ahead, then goes back to her work.

THE END (for Janet in this episode).
