Review
Okay, I admit it. I cheered when "And Teryl Rothery as Doctor Janet Fraiser" appeared on screen. Even though this would be my third viewing of the episode.
Janet only gets a little scene in this episode, but knowing spoilers for this season {pauses to sob}, I'll take anything I can get!
Being fickle for a minute, I wasn't too keen on the hair! But it's Janet, so I don't care (much!). I thought the exchange between her and Daniel was very sweet, and I love it when she hands him his glasses. (Although saying that, it does raise the question of where the hell did they come from? The DanandJan list had one idea…)
I thought that it was a shame that you didn't get to see her face when Daniel asks Jack if his hair's always been like that. Because, y'know, she's gonna be grinning at that. Or at least trying to hide said grin. But I like how she raises her hand, as if to say "Nuh uh, not going there!" I love the interaction that she and Jack have anyway (no, not that sort of interaction!).
So yay! for a Janet scene! A good start to the season (considering that it took her until "Frozen" last season to make an appearance, which was a whole four episodes!) Roll on Season 7… up to episode 13 of course!
